Happy Friday everyone! How are you? I have been pretty busy over the past few weeks attending two amazing trainings (The Body Positive and Prenatal/ Postnatal Yoga Teacher Training with Ma Yoga) and getting back into my yoga teaching groove. I’m now teaching at two studios here in Los Angeles: The Bridge Mind Body Movement downtown and Stadium Fitness Yoga here in Pasadena. It feels great to be teaching again and learning from so many lovely LA yogis! I’ve missed blogging and am happy to be back now that things have settled a bit. I hope that you enjoy some of the changes I have made on the site! I’ve posted my teaching schedule and the services that I offer, both in-home and virtually via Skype, FaceTime and Zoom.
You’ll also find a section entitled “Be Body Positive.” I’m so excited to be offering body positive coaching and workshops in addition to private and group yoga sessions. Participating in The Body Positive training last month truly confirmed the work that I am meant to be doing in the world. I believe so much in this program and helping people to reconnect with their bodies and end the eating disorder and body image dysmorphia epidemic in our society. So many of us hold back on accomplishing our goals and reaching our potential because we are not satisfied with our bodies. We wait until we lose weight or meet an externally determined ideal body type to allow ourselves the opportunity to thrive. This is not how it should be! The time to live your best life is now in the body you are living in today. I’m so excited to help others uncover their special gifts and get those gifts out in the world. Now more than ever, we need more people sharing their goodness and love with one another. We need community.
So please join me in embracing who you are right now in this very moment. With every imperfection, every misstep or mistake and every hope and dream that lives inside your heart. As you enter into this beautiful weekend, please take a moment to remind yourself that there has never been and will never be another you. This is it. We have one chance to shine and absorb as much of the beauty and love that this world has to offer us. So what is stopping us?
If nothing was holding you back, what would you want to accomplish? Where would you go? What would you say? Who would you be?
Let me know in the comments!
Love and light to you all!
